BIPOC Writers Intensive

Announcing CV2’s first BIPOC Writers Intensive of 2022!

This free workshop will be held in Winnipeg May 14-15. Open to emerging BIPOC writers, the workshop will be led by the wonderful Sally Ito.

Workshop Description: “Poetry is made up of three things – you, the world, and language.  In this workshop, you will write about yourself — Who are you in words? — and about the world — What is out there for me to see, hear, taste, touch, and smell?  We will focus in particular on short verse forms like the haiku, tanka, and cinquain.”

Due to limited space (10 participants max), we’ll be accepting applications from those interested in participating. Applications are due by May 6, and successful applicants will be notified by May 9. You can register for the event here!
