Happy autumn!
In this issue, in addition to the dozens of new poems you can always count on us for (including the winners of this year’s 2-Day Poem Contest), we’re happy to share five very thoughtful reviews of new poetry collections. In the spring, our editor attended a (wonderful) literary conference here in Winnipeg, at which a big topic of conversation revolved around the great role that reviews play in nourishing our community of poets and poetry-lovers. With this in mind, we’re trying to step up our review game a bit: basically, we’re trying to publish more of them! Both in print and on our website. And how lovely would it be if you found a new favourite book of poetry thanks to one of them?
