dogma be your seeing eye
and your hearing ear dog (good
boy!) and let its stride guide you
to let go, let sleeping dogs
lie, get rid of this gay guy’s
gaudy, dog-eared doggerel
before you get the gaybies,
before becoming smitten—
bitten by the bitch’s wit.
